Lawn/Landscape Terms and
Conditions Agreements Policy
1) All invoices are sent out at the end of each month and have a 30 day term or due date, after each term a 5% late fee will be applied to the total amount owing and all work will not resume until the amount is paid in full.
*After 90 days (3 months) of consistently being late all services will be permanently terminated and the amount owing will be due within 3 days, if this is not paid within the 72 hours it will be sent to a collections agency.
2) Payments can be made by e-transfer, mailed cheque or credit card.
E-transfers and mailed cheque information is provided on each invoice, credit cards can be filled out on the form provided, scanned and sent via email or by calling the office and filling in over the phone confidentially. (4% credit card charge excluded)
3) When landscape services are being provided on the property all toys, dog donations (poop), furniture or other home/business possessions must be out of the way, if not removed work will be done around or not at all if decided by landscaper/gardener on site.
4a) Maintenance prices are a flat rate cost per month excluding a small fuel surcharge, unless extra services are requested or recommended and agreed upon throughout the year which will be added to the invoice seperately.
(Example 1 of maintenance visits: If there are 4 visits in one month you will be charged your monthly flat rate, if there are 5 visits in one month you will be charged your monthly flat rate)
(Example 2 of extra costs: large hedgetrimming, tree pruning, overseeding, garden bed topping/mulching, irrigation services, liming, projects and others..)
4b) If your service day lands on a holiday, rain day or for any reason we cannot be there you will be automatically moved to the day before or after, if the day is missed you will be notified and the work will be caught up the following week.
4c) Lawns require 1.0"- 1.5" of water per week from either rainfall or irrigation if possible to keep it healthy and lush, keep in mind overwatering can lead to pests and deseases which we want to also avoid.
As well the cutting height should be anywhere from 2.0"- 4.0", if shorter this can lead to scalping and inviting all kinds of weeds to thrive, during the summer months it is a good idea to allow your grass to grow slightly longer (0.5"- 1.0" more) to protect it from the heat of the sun.
4d) Monthly rates are a set cost from March - December with the exception of August and December months each year depending on your properties services decided by a TOMEI Landscaper, these service exceptions are regarding weekly maintenance clients ONLY, this does not include biweekly or 11/12 month agreement contract customers.
5) If you are requesting to have services cancelled sometime between March - December you must give 1 months notice and all services must finish the current month you are in and you will be charged a $99+GST/cancellation policy fee. (this fee excludes and can be waived due to moving to another home, sudden health issues, emergency situations or other unfortunate circumstances and you must contact our office immediately)
6) Fall/Leaf cleanup will be collected by landscapers and taken away off the property, leaves may be left on side curb for city pickup if available in your municipality.
